작가 소개
나는 내가 지나온 시간들 중,
가장 빛났던 순간들과,
또 가장 평범했던 하루들을 그린다.
그림을 그릴 때면
나는 마음 속 어딘가 깊은 곳에 쌓여있는
이야기들을 탐색해본다.
말로는 다 담기지 않은 감정들이
그 곳에 조용히 쌓여 있기 때문이다.
한때는 아무렇지 않게 지나쳤던 순간들도,
시간이 흐른 뒤엔 뜻 밖의 따뜻함으로 되살아난다.
사람들은 어떠한 감정이나 순간들은 시간이 흐르고 나면 사라진다 말하지만,
나는 그것들이 가장 조용한 방식으로 오랫동안 마음에 남는다고 믿는다.
어떤 감정들은 너무도 선명해서,
잊히는 대신 내 안 어딘가에 자리를 잡고,
어느 날 문득, 조용히 피어나기도 한다.
가장 행복했던 날들, 무심코 웃던 대화,
햇살이 가득했던 오후,
소중한 사람들과 함께였던 시간,
어디서도 먹어본 적 없던 한 끼,
다시 한 번 꼭 가보고 싶은 작은 골목까지.
그 모든 것이 내 안에서 선명한 감정이 되어
조용히 남겨진다.
살아가며 느낀, 아주 찰나의 감정일지라도
내게는 영원처럼 남는다.
몇 번이고 되돌아보게 되고,
지금의 나를 만든 하나의 조각이 되기도 한다.
내가 지나온 길, 내가 사랑한 모든 것을 오래도록 기억하기 위해.
지나온 조각의 순간들을 그림으로 그린다.
그 순간들을 붙잡기 위해 그림을 그린다.
내 그림은 단지 장면을 담은 것이 아니라,
내가 느낀 시간의 온기,
마음의 떨림, 그리고 소중했던 모든 순간들이
잊히지 않기를 바라는
마음의 간절한 기록이다.
